The McKim Building is a six-storey restored Heritage building with a two-storey annex, located in the Exchange District, on the northwest corner of Main Street and Bannatyne Avenue.
Built in 1904, the building was the J. H. Ashdown hardware store. Today, the building is a multi-use centre for business and the arts in downtown Winnipeg, including rehearsal and performance space for a number of arts organizations, including the Manitoba Conservatory of Music and the Arts, the Winnipeg Contemporary Dancers and the School of Contemporary Dancers. Retail facilities are also included on the main floor.
