Manager - Financing & Budgeting

Chris Honke joined Shelter Canadian Properties Limited in 2006 as the Supervisor, Financing & Budgeting – Commercial and Hotel Properties. In 2015, Chris was appointed to the position of Manager - Financing & Budgeting.

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Financing & Budgeting, Chris is responsible all aspects of financing and budgeting for the Shelter-managed multi-unit residential rental properties, condominiums, commercial and hotel properties.

Chris was previously employed in the Cayman Islands, where he held financial reporting and analyst positions of varying responsibilities, including two years as Assistant Manager, Hedge Fund Administration with Caledonian Fund Services (Cayman) Limited. Chris also has valuable public practice experience, having worked at KPMG LLP, Chartered Accountants and other public accounting firms in Winnipeg for approximately seven years.

Chris obtained his Certified General Accountant designation in February 2000.
