Vice President – Administration

Sandra Sheedy is the Vice President – Administration for Shelter Canadian Properties Limited and in-house Broker for the corporate property management activities in Manitoba.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Sandra is responsible for staffing and payroll related matters, the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures and for monitoring compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Sandra also has overall responsiblity for the Special Projects Department.

Sandra joined Shelter in 1988 and has held a variety of management positions with Shelter Canadian and its predecessor company, Shelter Corporation of Canada Limited, including Senior Manager - Administration, Manager – Special Projects, Assistant Manager – Investor Services and Assistant to the Manager – Financial Reporting and Budgeting.

Prior to joining Shelter, Sandra was employed with Thorne Ernst and Whinney Chartered Accountants.

Sandra obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 1988 and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba.
