Ken Dando joined Shelter Canadian in 1986 as the General Manager of Condominium and Commercial Properties. Ken assumed the responsibilities of In-House Broker and was appointed Manager of Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting in March 1995. In 2002, Ken was appointed Senior Manager - Corporate Accounting & Administration. Ken also held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Lanesborough Real Estate Investment Trust.
Ken semi-retired, effective December 31, 2014 and is now working in a reduced capacity for Shelter Canadian as Administrator - Management Payroll & Benefits.
Prior to joining Shelter, Ken worked in various Controller positions with Canwest Capital Corporation, Extendicare Inc. (formerly Crownx) and was Senior Financial Officer for CML Northern Blower Inc.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandon University and obtained his Charted Accountant designation in 1974. After practicing as a Chartered Professional Accountant for over 50 years, Ken resigned from his membership in CPA Manitoba in good standing, effective December 31, 2025.
